The foam test determines the foaming characteristics of a lubricant. It is one of the important physical characteristics of a fluid, especially lubricants, and it determines the lifespan and performance of the oil as well as the equipment in which the lubricant is used.

Technical Characteristics

    • Test cell 1, temperature range from 10 to 50 degrees Celsius
    • Test cell 2, temperature range from room temperature to 110 degrees Celsius

Temperature Controller
  • The device is equipped with a microprocessor temperature controller with a PID mechanism and programed for temperature stability and exact uniformity required for the test as well as calibrating it with high accuracy.
  • The display shows the temperature of the test cells and the set point.

Foam Test – FT 02

This instrument is used to determine the tendency and stability of foam in fluids, especially of oil. The advantages of this instrument include keeping temperature uniformity and stability with a heating system and a circulating stirrer and corrosion-resistant internal parts (chemical material and physical characteristics resistant). The internal cooling system along with 2 air pumps enables simultaneous testing at 24 degrees and 93.5 degrees with accuracy and efficiency according to ASTM D892 standard.
